McLean Hospital Center for Neurodevelopmental Services seeks up to two full-time, one-year post-doctoral fellowship opportunities in neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities located at the Lurie Center for Autism in Lexington, Massachusetts. Postdoctoral fellows have joint appointments at McLean Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children -Lurie Center. The Lurie Center is a multidisciplinary program designed to evaluate and treat children, adolescents, and adults—providing expertise in neurology, developmental pediatrics, gastroenterology, psychiatry, psycho-pharmacology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech language pathology. These fellowships will involve working closely with a multidisciplinary team to complete diagnostic and neuropsychological assessments, under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. Post-doctoral fellows will also participate in a variety of training and supervision experiences including: weekly supervision, seminars, Grand Rounds, and other didactic experiences available at McLean Hospital and MGH. Opportunities for research and school consultation are also available. Strong neuropsychological testing experience and prior training in the assessment of individuals with autism spectrum disorders (including the ADOS) are preferred. Fellowship start date is scheduled for September 1, 2012 (may be negotiable). Applicants must have a Ph.D/Psy.D in Clinical Psychology.
